Bolted type T clamps use bolts to fasten the conductor, which is convenient for installation and disassembly. When the line is changed or shifted, the clamps can still be used after they are removed. It can be installed with the downlead with the same specifications as the bus bar or different specifications from the bus bar.

- The resistance at both ends of the conductor joint of bolted type T clamp shall not be greater than 1.1 times of resistance of an equivalent length of conductor;
- The temperature rise at the conductor joint shall not be greater than the temperature rise of conductor;
- The current carrying capacity of T clamp shall not be less than the carrying capacity of the down lead;
- The slip strength of T clamp is not less than 10% RTS of conductor.
