The compression T clamp makes an aluminum tube and conductor as a whole by an external force. It can be installed with the down-lead with the same specifications as the bus bar or different specifications from the bus bar. The installation of this T clamp in the substation requires the matching hydraulic press and steel mold.

Technical features
- The resistance at both ends of the conductor joint of the compression T clamp shall not be greater than the resistance of an equivalent length of conductor;
- The temperature rise at the conductor’s joint shall not be greater than the temperature rise of conductor;
- The current carrying capacity of T clamp shall not be less than the carrying capacity of the down lead;
- The slip strength of T clamp is not less than 10% RTS of conductor.
